(More customer reviews)I purchased this unit on Dec. 19 to prepare for our long hour trip. My kids really had great time on the car as we carried lots of movies and music videos for them.
This unit is very good. I had it installed in my new Mercedes GLK350 for the price of $150 of installation fee. The quality of picture is great. the built-in FM transmitter works perfectly fine. If you have decent sound systems in your vehicle, you will feel like you are sitting in a theater. I recommend to buy this unit over other more expensive ones because it offers you everything you need for a flip down DVD player.
The only problem is the seller never respond to my email when I ask if they have other color for me to choose instead of black color.
I am not sure if I want to do business with this seller again.

(More customer reviews)The installation instructions were abbreviated...a little too abbreviated. The drivers didn't install properly and I was afraid I had made a mistakein buying this card. I downloaded the newest software from the website, and in the process figured out what the problem was with the original install. Once I had that done I started to receive some channels, but not all. It was through a trial error process I was able to figure out that in order to receive all TV channels and FM radio I needed an antenna connected to all three inputs. It's not an easy trick because of the limited space between the connectors. It also makes the back of the PC a little messy. The instructions for the operation software were also quite brief and very vague, and that took some time to work through as well
But I eventually figured everything out and I'm glad I did. Using a P4 2.99 ghz and XP Pro SP 3 and an HP 2207h HD monitor the picture is as clear as it is on my large HDTV. I am very impressed. I've used the record function and it works very well, as does the screen shot feature. Now that it's up and working I think my wife could sit down and watch TV on it with little or no instruction from me, so that learning curve is very short.
Don't expect to stick this card in and be up and running in 5 minutes. And don't buy this card if you are a computer or a/v neophyte - you'll be disappointed. But if you know your way around software installs and enjoy fiddling around with something like this and the satisfaction of getting it working it is does a VERY good job.

(More customer reviews)I recommend this product. It has as many uses as you can imagine...just be creative. The only thing that keeps this device from being perfect is the range which for me seems to be about 25-30 feet. I put one of these locaters on my cat collar. It's big but lightweight and the cat doesn't mind because he's concentrating on going outside. I go with him but in the past had a hard time keeping track of him. Now I can sit, read, smoke my cigar, enjoy other things while keeping track of him with just the push of a button. When he's out of sight I press the button and his collar device beeps. gotcha! And when it doesn't beep I just hold the button in and walk around until it DOES beep. At least then I know I'm within 25 feet of him and can track him. I'm thinking I will attach one to the remote control next.

(More customer reviews)i bought this item and was pleased with the screen size. once i installed it, it worked great other than a few things. the speaker is not very loud, and the remote is very odd. no matter where you point the remote it only works part time. the speaker has to be all the way up to hear over road noise. other than thatit worked great....until we were about to leave to come home. no the unit will not play the dvd in it,eject it or anything. its like a dvd is not even inserted. we were watching this movie the day before it messed up. so not only do i have a junk dvd player, but i also am out of a dvd because of this. i will give them a second chance, if they reply to my email quick. maybe i recieved a bad unit? all the other reviews were great for this product.

(More customer reviews)I actually bought a couple of these SILVER units and the reviews previously posted are right on. BUT Angeltrax came out with a newer model in BLACK (completely new design and remote), and it works great. My old model was swapped out because my previous transmitter couldn't even do what it was supposed to. Customer service DID help me through it and finally figured out that it was the hardware itself. So I didn't just get voice mail. Anyway, the new system allowed me to hook up an infared putput from the transmitter to the front of the cable box so now I can actually use the Cable remote in the other room, point it at the receiver and the channel will change the main cable box... so I can watch any channel I want (since the TV has to be on channel 3 to work with the COAX setting). The new one works great, but I agree - stay away from the Silver Model here. You will be sorely disappointed.

(More customer reviews)The product is very easy to connect, there is no software to install. I actually use it for viewing my surveillance cameras via a KVM Switch to my surveillance console and PC. The KVM VGA cord plugs into my transmitter box, then another VGA cord (provided by the PCTV Sender) plugs from the Transmitter to my survellance console. Luckily the PCTV Sender allows you to adjust the monitor settings because the 2nd monitor is NOT the the same dimensions (not wide screen like the original monitor) so that allowed me to adjust the the 2nd monitor to enhance my viewing pleasure.
However, because I have a wireless internet router w/ 2.4 GHz I immediately drop wireless internet signal on my laptop as soon as I plug in the PCTV Sender. Both wireless signals conflict with each other, so I actually removed the PCTV Sender antenna (which is detachable) and use a piece of aluminum foil in place of it and both wireless internet and PCTV sender can co-exist. Both devices actually sit in the same room. The 2nd monitor is about 20 ft away and catches great...with foil. LOL
