(More customer reviews)What a wonderful toy! Any audio you can listen to on your A2DP bluetooth-enabled computer can be easily streamed to your home stereo system.
I bought this particular Bluetooth module because:
a. it can act as either a transmitter or a receiver by flipping a switch and
b. it has both front panel buttons and and IR remote, allowing the box to send AVRCP commands (pause/fwd/back/vol) back to the bluetooth transmitter.
I programmed my universal remote (Harmony) to replace the GE mini-remote.
Pros:
I use the box mainly to stream music from a Dell e1505 laptop to my home stereo and the sound quality is absolutely fantastic. I've run it for several hours straight with no disconnect problems.
Cons:
This could be an issue with my laptop, but sometimes the GE Bluetooth box stays in "connected" mode even after the laptop is put in standby. The result is that I can't reconnect the laptop until I power-cycle the Bluetooth box (unplug/plug-in). I probably need to do a bluetooth disconnect before going into standby mode...
Also, the aforementioned AVRCP commands don't seem to work with iTunes, but they do work with Windows Media Player.

There are custom adjustments for the pros ut I stayed away from it. Superb TV, style and performance wise, and for the price it's a steal. I was hesitating between Sony and Samsung, I dont regret my choice.

(More customer reviews)First off, the actual item looks just like the one without the remote extender not the one pictured. I installed the Remote TV in my kitchen which is next to my living room. I can see the kitchen from the living room, but I can't see the Living Room TV from the kitchen, hence the extender.
Pros: Works pretty well, video and audio are in sync and with the right cables, you can still use your regular TV to watch the same show as what's on the remote TV. The picture quality is quite good, although i'm only using a 20" TV. The IR extender works pretty flawlessly in remote location. Once you realize the antennas are directional and you aim them at each other it works great.
Cons: If you walk through the directional antenna signal, picture drops out, which is why the manual says to mount them as high as possible to avoid interruption. In my situation, I can see the IR repeater from my living room and thus when I try to change channels by aiming at the TV, it doesn't work because it gets my signal, then it gets the repeated signal and it must distort both the signals. Also, I've noticed that on one of the four channels, my Internet Wireless g network is completely undetectable if I'm too close to the repeaters. My solution was to turn off the repeaters when I'm not using them to save power and let my remotes and wireless network work.
Overall: the product has some flaws in my specific application, but over the long run, I think it will prove it's convenience as a worthwhile investment.

My purchase before this item was a logitech universal remote. I spent 10 hours and 2 calls to India to set up and I ended up not using the RF remote because it didn't work.
REASON FOR PURCHASE (APPLICATION):
I wanted to gift my mom the ability to watch her DirecTV in the kitchen on the new 23" Samsung I got her. We didn't want to go through the hassle of having another big DirecTV HD DVR box and more coaxial line run around the house, so I bought the Briteview.INSTALL:
1. Plugged HDMI cable from Family room DTV receiver to back up base unit (kept the component video and audio plugged into cinema receiver for the main TV).
2. Plugged BV-2500 base unit into wall.
3. Placed Infared receiver over the DTV receiving IR port
4. 40ft away and through 1 wall I plugged receiving unit into back of Samsung 23" TV via HDMI
5. Plugged receiving unit into wall
6. Turned on both TV's and whaa-la
PRO's
* Not sure for all applications, but the DirecTV receiver was capable of sending component audio/video and HDMI aud/vid at the same time, so we could watch and adjust volume on both TV's at same time with ZERO LAG (both audio and video).
* SUPER EASY INSTALL WITH INFARED WORKING ON FIRST ATTEMPT
* HD picture quality is 1080P
* No extra running of cables for my application
* Small receiving unit makes for a clean looking install. Unit is smaller than most computer home routers.
CON's
* No HDMI out on the base unit (would make nice for lots of us who want to pass through the HDMI and don't have an AV receiver or want to change AV receiver input). Instead I have to use both HDMI and component out so.
UNKNOWN AND OTHER SUGGESTIONS
To complete the install I think I will probably need to buy an additional DireTV remote and program the 2nd TV's volume control to that.
Keep in mind your are going to be watching the SAME channel on the 2nd display if you are watching the primary display at the same time. That being said this isn't for most family's. My mom lives with just my dad and they enjoy watching the same thing.
Now my mom can cook family dinner and watch TV at the same time!!!
Keep in mind this was a gift from someone (me) who doesn't even own or watch TV.

(More customer reviews)I was in the market for a set of headphones and saw these at the store for $9 and figured they were worth a try as I needed headphones in a hurry and could test out the wireless feature before I committed to a better set. The main reason I wanted to try wireless headphones is so I could watch television at night and not wake my girlfriend. For $9 I wasn't expecting much but at least wanted them to last me a few weeks/months and see if wireless was something I wanted to pursue.
After using the headphones for a few days I can say for certain they are not worth anywhere near the $9 price I paid. The headphones themselves are made of cheap plastic and are flimsy. The padding at the headband and earpieces my girlfriend accurately described as "tissue paper". One bout of sweat or travel in a backpack would do these headphones in. The quality of the sound is no better than the free pair would would get with a cheap CD player. Scratchy, quiet, inaccurate; just all around bad sound quality. Your Apple standard earbuds will provide better sound isolation and greatly improved sound quality. That being said, if they were able to transmit my TV audio to my bed 15' away it might be worth the cost, but it didn't even come close.
The RF transmitter states that it runs on DC adapter or 2 AAA batteries. There is no DC adapter and I doubt the batteries would give more than a few days of service. The headphones offer a scanning FM radio which functions by cycling through the FM band and stopping on what it feels is an in-tune station. The transmitter broadcasts on one of these FM bands so you have to continue to press the scan button until you find the desired audio. When using mine, the transmitter broadcast on a frequency I know to be a common radio frequency used in my and other cities, so unless i was within 3' of the transmitter the stronger signal from the local radio overshadowed the transmitter. So poor was the signal strength, if I turned my head with the headset on from ~5' away from the transmitter the audio would switch between the local radio and the transmitter. Additionally, because the headset is programmed to scan until it finds a station if there was static in the signal or even radio silence the headset would scan to the next avaliable station making continuous listening on the FM band sustainable for only about 10 spats.
I used this headset for 2 days before I purchased a new set here on Amazon and doubt if i'll continue to use them until my package arrives. This product does not work as intended and was a total waste at what should have been a value cost. Please save yourself the trouble and do not purchase this item.

Sentry HO900 Wireless Headphones Review

(More customer reviews)I'm not complaining too badly, since I paid about $15 for it, but the description does say "binaural." I guess I should literally translate that to "two ears" because the headphones do fit on both ears, but there is only one channel of sound. Understand that before you buy.
That said, they do fit my ears well and the volume is adequate for me (and I have about 40% hearing loss).
On a side note, on the unit I bought, the off switch on the headphones doesn't work, so I'm returning them, but for a mono sound and a cheap wireless headphone, it's not too bad.
