I was a little reluctant in my decision, mainly because there wasn't a single review for this product, but I decided to go ahead and purchase a pair. Luckily I purchased a very functional and stylish pair of headphones. I also promised myself I'd leave a review just in case someone else was in the same boat as me. The headphones themselves are light, I don't know why I was expecting them to be heavy but they weren't. As far as sound quality, they're not perfect but they do sound good. As a side note when I first used them the bass in the headphones was surprisingly high, but after a few minutes the headphones played regularly. When comfort and fitting com into the picture, there perfect. A similar product offered by Logitech doesn't fit most people, and thats were these shine. These headphones have a very surprisingly long ford, but I assume there is still something in the box that allows you to adjust that. All in all if you cant fit the Logitech headphones, go for these.

seriously. it sucks.
I don't mean your lack of adverts on abc or anything that trite. I mean that you sell components that _require_ other components, and you fail to make those requirements known.
here, let me elucidate.
I have a projector. this projector is behind me. the video is fed to the projector by an AV receiver which is also behind me. leaning over the couch and trying to point the right remote at the right device (do I need to pause a dvd? do want to skip to the next selection on my apple tv? hell, do I want to adjust the volume on my stereo) is awkward. I have to imagine that this is a pretty standard predicament for someone to be in when they go searching for this sort of product. so I went looking for something that would transmit my IR signal at the front of the room (where the image is projected) to the back of the room (where the AV gear is located).

the least crappy/most flexible of the products appeared to be the ramsey products. cool. for 30$ something, I ordered the IR/RF transmitter. it comes and it turns out that this is a DIY setup. ok, that's not what I was expecting. It would've been nice if the description said DIY somewhere. My bad for not correctly interpreting 'kit' to mean 'solder this yourself'. But what the hell, I get a soldering iron and get it setup.
nothing happens.
ok, I see that I only got the transmitter. crap. I guess I need a transmitter and some sort of repeater/receiver. would've been nice if ramsey had mentioned that on my initial purchase.
so I order the repeater. another $30 (and another 10 days). I'm expecting a DIY kit this time, and this time, I'm not disappointed. soldering gun at the ready, and I get it going.
repeater, works just fine. transmitter, still nothing. Not amount of futzing can get these two devices to talk to each other. odd, b/c my amazon research lead me to believe that these were the two I wanted. I figure I must've set the transmitter up incorrectly (it _was_ my first device. I was less experienced and the actvity indicator LED's act differently. when the repeater recieves a signal, the LED blinks on. when the transmitter recieves a signal, the LED blinks off. something must be crossed in the transmitter).
so I toss the transmitter and buy a new one. $90+ invested now, in a DIY kit.
setup. plugged in. LED blinks. still, no dice.
what could possibly be wrong?
Oh, when buying the RRW1A wireless transmitter, I also need to buy an RRW1B reciever (according to the manual). except that on amazon, it's called an RRW1BC wireless RF/IR Repeater Receiver (try searching amazon for "RRW1B", all I get is two random books when searching "all departments")
Riiiight.
So, Ramsey, your marketing sucks. you utterly fail to make known what components are needed for what to work. you have, however, inspired me to simply move my a/v receiver to a location that isn't quite so awkward to point at from the couch. yay, you.

They are comfortable, make a quick bluetooth connection with my Ipod (just add a bluetooth dingle like Sony's and an armband Ipod holder) or anything else bluetooth, and provide good quality sound for workouts. They have their minuses -- you can't get them wet, so people with sweaty ears should not buy them, and they are not well made so if the set you get doesn't work right don't wait to return them. But there is no better set of wireless bluetooth headphones available, and it is just great to have your music with you when you run without worrying about wires. The controls on the headset are very easy to operate too."
I stick with what I said before about liking wireless headsets and easy to operate controls, but let me repeat these ARE NOT WELL MADE. My FOURTH set just broke - will no longer take a charge -- and I give up. They always break, always. Sony's headsets are more expensive, but sound just as good, and I will bet they are more durable. I would add that although these headphones are reasonably comfortable, the earpiece tends to bounce out of at least one ear when running, and you can't wear these headphones and sunglasses at the same time.

This product detects objects (larger animals, cars, people) passing its sensor, transmits the signal to the indoor unit and the indoor unit does indeed make you aware of the situation.
But:
-- -- The sensor sends at least two alert signals to the indoor unit. It should keep its mouth shut for maybe 30 seconds afterwards, maybe even a minute! It is essentially quite a 'dumb' sensor.
-- -- The indoor sensor has a piercingly loud, unchangeable shrieking tone composed of an 'up' and a 'down' tone which sound THREE TIMES. Essentially six tones. And then bear in mind the sensor alerts the indoor unit at least twice per pedestrian. So that's already 12 tones. Minimum.
VERY VERY VERY ANNOYING.
And this is already my second unit. My first one failed. My second has a defect whereby the LED is always on a little bit.
I am getting frustrated just describing this product...

(More customer reviews)These are a JOKE. I bought two directly from Grace Digital Audio (the original manufacturer). Both are now not working. Being denied warranty largely due to them not answering the phone for two weeks, I took them apart. They use cheap ABS plastic (instead of PC-ABS) and both had cracked housings due to the stress of the screws holding the halves together. This allowed water in. The boards are NOT conformally coated, so even a little moisture on the DC current traces lead to massive corrosion. I couldn't even make on good unit from the two. Stay clear of these expensive toys if you intent to put them in the water. Audio quality was great for the 4 to 6 hours that each worked.

(More customer reviews)I love the digital music channels provided through my cable TV service, and I wanted to be able to listen to this music outside. I just got so sick of dragging the boom box outside during dinner parties or while gardening and then having to fuss with changing CDs--especially when I had great music playing inside the house.
The speaker has exceeded my expectations. If you read the directions carefully and follow them step-by-step, you'll have good sound outdoors, too. I was up and running with tunes oustide within ten minutes. I needed another five minutes to fine tune, which was easily accomplished by reading the instructions and the troubleshooting guide. (If you refuse to read instructions or to show a little patience, you get what you deserve.)
Contrary to what you may have read in other reviews, if the unit is set up correctly, the sound is NOT thin. The bass is substantial and even with the volume set to maximum, there is no distortion. I set up the speaker (loud!) and strolled my entire yard perimeter, as well as the far side of my neighbor's yard, and could hear everything perfectly. I used the cordless phone right next to the unit--no problem. The distance from my stereo to the backyard is the entire depth of the house--about 60 feet--with signal passing through several plaster and brick walls. I found that it's important to place the transmitter up as high as you can. That solved the few little sound problems I had at setup. What can I say? It sounds great and I love it.
